To this day, I remember this. It was a sad day to bear witness to such little care this location has for it's customers.
Imagine, you're driving down the interstate and notice your trailer is losing air in a tire. You think, "I can make it to AutoZone, switch out my spare and get back on the road. It's a safe place and I always bring my business there." Right?? I pull into the parking lot and pull off to the side. The parking lot is empty, no customers and the tire is losing air fast so I grab my jack and was able to shove it under my trailer's axle just in time. I jack it up quick and run inside to give them a courtesy heads up while buying a few drinks and snacks for the road. This is what they said. "You can't park here and change your tire, if my manager sees that I'll get in trouble." So I replied, "My tire lost all it's air already. It will take less than 5 minutes." I go back outside and change the tire out with the spare. All while the two employees stand there watching. (One of them was smoking and was the person who made the comment.) Before I left I went back up to these employees and said, "I've always been a patron to AutoZone and when a customer needs a safe place to pull over to change out a tire you treat them like this? That's horrible. Have a blessed day."
